From May 30 to June 1, 2025, the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, famous as the “Temple of Speed”, will host the GT World Challenge Europe stage, one of the most eagerly awaited competitions in the automotive championship organized by the SRO (Stéphane Ratel Organization). This event marks one of the stages of the Endurance format, which includes long-duration races such as the 3 Hours of Monza, where the world’s best GT3 cars will compete.

GT World Challenge Europe: the 77th edition

The GT World Challenge Europe is a top-level motorsport competition featuring Gran Turismo (GT3) cars with exceptional performance and suitable for long-duration racing. The championship, organized by the SRO (Stéphane Ratel Organization), consists of 10 stages, divided between Sprint and Endurance events. The Monza stage, to be held from May 30 to June 1, 2025, will be one of the most anticipated races of the entire season, a must-see event for endurance enthusiasts.

The Autodromo Nazionale Monza will host more than 50 cars divided into four classes:

  • PRO (professional drivers)
  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Bronze

During the three-day weekend, free practice, qualifying and the main 3 Hour race will alternate, offering all motorsport fans a unique experience. The event will not only feature highly talented drivers, including Valentino Rossi, on the track, but will also be accompanied by a series of supporting events, including the McLaren Trophy and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo.

GT World Challenge Europe: tickets and related costs

Tickets for the event are already available and offer several entry options:

  • Friday, May 30: free admission to watch free practice and support races.
  • Saturday, May 31: 20€.
  • Sunday, June 1: 25€.
  • Season ticket for both days: 35€.

All tickets include access to the paddock, where fans can meet drivers and teams. In addition, reduced tickets are provided for:

  • Children up to 6 years old: free admission.
  • Children 7 to 11 years old: €1 ticket.
  • People with disabilities: free admission, with accompanying person €1.

Monza Autodrome: how to get there

The Autodromo Nazionale di Monza is located within the Monza Park and, during the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe, can be accessed through Porta Vedano and Porta Santa Maria delle Selve, the latter open only on race weekends. If you decide to arrive by car, the racetrack offers a large 54,000-square-meter uncovered parking area, with free parking for the handicapped.

The racetrack is also easily accessible by public transportation:

  • Metro: Monza is not served by the Metro, but by taking the Milan Metro Line 1, it is possible to get off at the Sesto 1° Maggio stop and continue by bus 221 to Monza.
  • Bus: It is possible to take bus 204 from Corso Milano to the Vedano entrance of the racetrack or bus 221 from Corso Milano to the Vedano or Santa Maria delle Selve entrances.
  • Train: the Monza Station, located on the Milan-Chiasso line, is only 6.5 km from the autodrome, easily reached by train.
