From Switzerland: "Lake highway" A9, keep driving until A4, exit Cinisello Balsamo.
From Austria: Brennero highway A22, then A4 direction Turin, exit Monza.

By train

Monza train station is a little more than 2 km (1 mile) far from Hotel de la Ville.
Trains departing from different Milan stations stop in Monza, the main ones: Milano Centrale and Milano Porta Garibaldi, every 15 minutes (lines Bergamo, Lecco, Sondrio, Chiasso and Saronno).
Milan Underground MM stops at Sesto San Giovanni (red MM1, 9 km/5,5 miles) and Bignami (lilac MM5, 10 km/6 miles).

By plane

From Linate, Tangenziale Est to Lecco, exit Sesto San Giovanni. Taxi fare: about 50 euros. Air Pullman offers 7 routes per day to Monza.
From Malpensa, highway A8 to Milano, keep driving until A4, exit Cinisello Balsamo. Taxi fare: about 100 euros. Shuttle buses every 15 min to Milano Centrale; Malpensa Express trains every 15 min to Milano Centrale and Garibaldi. Orio Shuttle connects Monza to Orio al Serio and Malpensa.
