Alleys, shops, bars and narrow stairs characterize the village, where you can also find a little shore and a small port at Punta Spartivento. You have millions of possibilities on Lake Como. You can go north to reach Varenna, overlooked by the panoramic Castello di Vezio, or to Piona, with its abbey, and last but not least to Gravedona.

Reaching Como by train
Trains depart from Monza to Como San Giovanni every 15 minutes, and they lead you a short walk far from the city centre and the lakeside. It takes 40 minutes to arrive there.
Reaching Como by car
Monza is less than 40 kilometres far from Lake Como. In 50 minutes, from Hotel de la Ville in Monza you can go to Como taking SS36 road to Lecco and then redirecting on SP9 road at Verano Brianza.
